Discovery of bee world and honey production
Guided tour near the beehives to discover bee wonderful and organized world. Boys and girls start learning beehive structure and their social composition (queen bee, worker bees and drones), through parlour games, drawings and didactic activities. In the end, they will produce the honey, visit the laboratory and taste different honeys. If necessary, the farm provides suitable protective devices. It is recommended to wear sport clothes, preferably long trousers (jeans), long socks, long sleeved shirt, plastic or rubber gloves.
The horse and its world
Guided tour to CB QUARTER HORSE riding stable (www.cbquarter.com). During the visit, boys and girls will learn more about their way of life and their «typical» day: where they sleep, horse feeding, care and cleaning and finally, only for those who want to: BAPTISM IN THE SADDLE. It should be remembered that the riding stable is also a horse boarding, stud farm and FISE approved western riding school with BARBARA CUNIOLO and MARIO RIZZO qualified instructors. We carry out horse training, private and group lessons for novice adults and children.
The farm is situated between the towns of Valenza and Alessandria, Valmadonna hamlet. It is tucked away in the hills and enjoys a spectacular view. It is surrounded by tall trees, cultivated fields and a small orchard; it houses a stud farm and a maintenance of bees producing different types of honey.
